Affordable Utility Rates

Families and businesses across Escambia County are already dealing with rising costs for insurance, housing, groceries, fuel, and everyday necessities. Greg Litton believes ECUA has a responsibility to operate efficiently, responsibly, and with careful financial oversight to help keep utility rates as affordable as possible for the people it serves. He understands that every rate increase affects working families, seniors on fixed incomes, and local businesses trying to grow and succeed in our community.

Greg supports responsible budgeting, long-term financial planning, and eliminating unnecessary waste while ensuring that taxpayer and ratepayer dollars are spent wisely and transparently. He believes residents deserve clear communication and accountability before any rate increases are considered, and he will work to ensure ECUA remains focused on value, efficiency, and protecting the financial interests of District 4 residents.

Modernizing Aging Infrastructure

Reliable water and sewer infrastructure is essential to protecting public health, supporting economic growth, and maintaining the quality of life residents expect throughout Escambia County. Greg Litton believes ECUA must take a proactive approach to upgrading aging infrastructure before costly failures, service interruptions, or emergency repairs occur. Waiting until systems fail only increases costs and creates unnecessary risks for residents and businesses.

Greg supports investing in long-term infrastructure solutions that strengthen reliability, improve service, and prepare the community for future growth. His priorities include upgrading aging water and sewer lines, improving preventative maintenance planning, reducing system vulnerabilities, and ensuring ECUA develops a sustainable long-range infrastructure strategy that protects both current customers and future generations.

Hurricane & Storm Preparedness

Living on the Gulf Coast means being prepared for hurricanes, tropical storms, flooding, and severe weather events that can quickly impact homes, businesses, and critical public infrastructure. Greg Litton believes utilities play a vital role in public safety during emergencies, and ECUA must continue strengthening its ability to respond quickly and effectively before, during, and after major storms.

Greg supports stronger storm preparedness, infrastructure resiliency, and emergency response planning to better protect District 4 residents and utility customers across Escambia County. He will advocate for improvements to emergency communication systems, backup and recovery capabilities, infrastructure hardening, and operational readiness so residents can have confidence that ECUA is prepared when severe weather threatens our community.

Protecting Our Beaches & Waterways

Pensacola’s beaches, waterways, and natural resources are among our community’s greatest assets. They support tourism, strengthen property values, enhance our quality of life, and play a major role in the local economy. Greg Litton believes protecting clean water and preserving our coastal environment should remain a top priority for ECUA and local leadership.

Greg supports responsible environmental stewardship that balances conservation with practical, common-sense solutions that benefit both residents and businesses. He believes protecting Pensacola Beach and local waterways is essential for future generations, and that responsible growth and environmental protection can work together. Greg will support policies and infrastructure investments that help maintain water quality, strengthen environmental safeguards, and preserve the beauty and health of our community.

Transparency & Accountability

Residents deserve leadership that communicates openly, listens to concerns, and remains accountable to the people who pay the bills. Greg Litton believes ECUA should operate with transparency, fiscal responsibility, and a clear commitment to serving the public interest at all times. Trust in public institutions is built through honest communication, accessibility, and responsible decision-making.

As your representative for District 4, Greg will work to provide regular updates to the community, remain accessible to residents, and promote greater transparency throughout the decision-making process. He believes ECUA should stay focused on service, infrastructure, and protecting ratepayers — not politics. Greg is committed to being a strong voice for residents and ensuring District 4 taxpayers always have representation that puts the community first.
